About me
Borahm Cho is designer, product guy and entrepreneur: A Brooklynite by way of Berlin, Bo began his design career at age of thirteen, focusing his work and studies on creating interesting digital social systems and branded interfaces.
Bo received his BA in communication design in Germany, and has considerable experience in product and service design. Bo has lived in cities around the world, including Hamburg, his birthplace, Konstanz, and Melbourne.
After working at digital agencies in Germany and Australia, he founded Kitchensurfing — a web marketplace where you can hire chefs to cook for you, at home — in 2012. To date, Kitchensurfing has raised $18.7M from Union Square Ventures, Tiger Global and prominent angel investors like David Karp, Founder Collective, Chris Dixon, and Joanne Wilson.
Most recently he worked at Shopify for 6 years running a product team and eventually moving to engineering.
Currently, he is tinkering with new projects.
Before he turned 30, he was named one of the Forbes' 30 Under 30 in 2014.
In his spare time, Bo hunts ramen.
